Welcome to Northampton Psychology Practice

Specialist Clinical Psychology Services for Adults, Children, and Young People

Led by Dr Kate Baldry, Clinical Psychologist, Northampton Psychology Practice is a team of Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists offering private psychological assessment, psychological therapy, and other psychological interventions to adults, children, and young people. We work with individuals, parents, family members, and carers, to enable those we work with, and those who support them, to better understand and cope with psychological difficulties they may be experiencing.

Our work aims to support people to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. We have expertise to work with a variety of psychological issues, including mental health difficulties, trauma (PTSD) and abuse, bereavement and loss, and behaviours of concern. We draw upon our knowledge and skills in clinical psychology to tailor assessment and therapy to the individual, working with them to improve psychological and emotional wellbeing.

We also specialise in working with neurodiverse individuals such as those who are autistic and/or have ADHD and with those with learning difficulties and learning disabilities through The Autism Practice. This work includes assessment and diagnosis, and psychological therapy and support. Further information about our autism services, including assessment, can be found at The Autism Practice website.

We offer additional psychological services including working with local schools, providing expert witness reports for family court proceedings including cognitive, capacity, and psychological assessments of adults and children, and provide supervision, training, and consultation to other professionals, organisations, and agencies.
